My History - 
My career has taken a slow and steady start. After college I spent my time working as a house tech for a few venues, building general skills, experience, and confidence. I got married and had two kids while continuing to work part time.

As my kids have gotten older I now have more time and flexibility with my schedule to pursue more freelance work.

My Work -
I would consider myself a pretty flexible designer with experience in a wide variety of settings and styles. I have designed in everything from tiny spaces with very limited lighting to university theatres, and shows ranging from highly realistic straight plays, rock musicals and classics, to interpretive dance.
My favorite thing to design for is definitely dance, especially contemporary, hip-hop, and anything funky and experimental. I love the chance to embrace bold colors and don't shy away from intentional shadows. I have enjoyed growing my design resume and experience with my local and educational connections but always look forward to new experiences in new venues.
